Two days before the New Year’s Eve service, Sunday, 29 December 2019, our dear Aunty Molly had a stroke right before the service. Though her speech was garbled, and she knew it was wisest to go to the hospital, her desire to be in the house of the Lord superseded the natural. Though her spirit worshiped with us, her speech was still hindered, and she couldn’t even mutter a Hallelujah. During the service, our church people crowded around to pray for her healing before she was brought to the hospital where it was confirmed that she indeed had a clot and suffered a stroke.
Miraculously, without medications, by 2 pm the next day her coordination and speech returned in full strength. The doctor who saw her in the emergency was amazed when he saw her again. He said that if he had not witnessed and assessed Aunty Molly on Sunday, he would not have believed that she was the same person that he previously diagnosed as a stroke victim.
Praise be to God who can do abundantly more than we can possibly think of or imagine. This healing encouraged Aunty Molly to take up the opportunity to join the TAMI Global Conference in Dubai in February 2020. Last summer, she was given a prophetic word that despite her previous losses, God would open up continents for her to travel and minister to. Hallelujah! “Let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold resolutely to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful.” Hebrews 10:23
