Our desire for the Sunday School is to witness the hearts of our children turn to Jesus, connect with Him and have a personal relationship with Him. We desire to lay a good foundation where they will grow in love and biblical knowledge of Him by teaching them the Word of God and scripture-based values. This way, we build their lives on God and His Word which ensures that the Word goes from generation to generation. Simultaneously, they develop a faith that will help them make Godly choices, be a blessing in the Kingdom of God and be motivated to serve people and the community and above all, be devoted followers of Jesus Christ. We encourage them to be confident in dealing with issues of life through reading Scriptures, prayer and being directed by the Holy Spirit. We also believe that this is a safe place where children would develop lasting friendships and a sense of belonging with other children.

Our teachers in the Sunday School work hard to ensure that the children are taught at their levels by teaching them in different ways:
Nursery
(0-4 years)
Kids play and interact with each other and our volunteers in a loving and caring environment. We believe that even our littlest ones will be impacted by what the Holy Spirit is doing in our church!
5-6
years
Teaching foundational Biblical truth appropriate for their age and stage in life. We provide teaching through play, discussion, memorization, Q/A’s, arts & crafts. We want to teach them the foundation of faith to build for a lifelong walk with the Lord.
7-9
years
Teaching foundational truths in the Bible through stories, activities, discussion and memorization and leaning on the Word of God together with the Holy Spirit to grow in relationship with Jesus.
10-12
years
Teaching more mature biblical truths through foundational scriptures, discussions, memorization and assignments with the main aim to prepare them and equip them to walk in relationship with the Lord, with a kingdom perspective through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Following worship in our church service, children (ages 4-12) are dismissed at 4 pm to Sunday school. The children go straight to their small group and start off with an activity and prayer before entering into the lesson. There is time to make the lesson applicable to their lives now. At the end, time is set aside to share prayer requests and pray together.
Children’s Church
Once a month we have a large group session when all the ages come together. We start off with worship lead by our very own children’s worship team. We have an interactive lesson, then break off into small groups to go deeper into the teaching.
Partnering with Parents
We value the connection between parents, children and teachers through our productions, spring picnic, worship sessions, and even raising funds for various causes connected to global missions. We pray that our children will know they are part of something so important, called for bigger things and that they can play a special role because they are a part of God’s family! Each and every child who comes through our doors is an image bearer of the King!
