God does not bless His people simply so they can say, “I am blessed.” He blesses with purpose. Your life can become a billboard of God’s faithfulness, a visible distinction that declares to the world, “Look what the Lord has done.” Obedience belongs to us; the consequence belongs to God. As Isaac discovered in the middle of famine, when God speaks and we obey, God knows how to take care of the outcome. And through it all, our confidence remains in Jesus Christ: our source, our Redeemer, and the One through whom the blessing comes.
