Rejection has a poison in it. You won’t be able to enjoy a blessing if you are in the shackles of rejection. Leah felt rejection from Jacob even while she bore him sons. But something changed with the birth of her fourth son. She called him Judah which means ‘praise’. She made adecision to praise the Lord. No matter what you go through, praise looks good on you. Praise takes your eyes off yourself and puts your eyes on God. God is enthroned on our praises. When you praise God, He will use it as a place to sit. Judah (praise) was called to lead the tribes into battle. He went first so that God would be enthroned. He had no history of winning in battle but God had given him a promise. When God is releasing people, He is not doing it based on merit but on a word spoken. It is Yahweh going, not Judah!
Give the Lord your best praise! You may have reasons to be angry but you can still joyfully say that God has been good to you. A promise of God is as good as if it were fulfilled. Where you are going, the promise is going. It is not by might nor power but by the Holy Spirit. The promise is taking you forward. The biggest key that opens everything is praising! After Judah was born, God paused Leah’s child bearing for a time to mark the significance of this birth because the Messiah would come from this line. Heaven marked that moment to separate the common from the extraordinary. It was a pause connected to the greater plan of God. What God has given to you and what you have given back as praise will become a platform for the next move of God!
