A single opportunity, surrendered to God, can change far more than we ever imagine. In Acts 13, we discover that a “word of encouragement” is far more than positive speech, it is the ministry of the Holy Spirit flowing through a believer. True encouragement begins with God, exalts Jesus Christ, proclaims the gospel of grace, and declares that the God who worked in Scripture is still working today. The life of Barnabas reminds us that those who carry the Holy Spirit strengthen lives, open doors, advance the gospel, and help shape God’s greater purposes. May we be ready when God opens a door, faithfully representing Him and speaking words that bring life, hope, and eternal impact.
