TAMI
Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.
In addition to having a vision for the power of the Holy Spirit to be manifested, we at ZAMIE desire to be part of the great harvest and discipling of souls across the world. In addition to ZAMIE being an apostolic church, we are also a church with a growing desire for missions, both locally and across the world.
Locally, believers at ZAMIE are involved in prison ministry, one-on-one evangelism and discipleship. Many of ZAMIE’s ministers are connected to other local ministries in Edmonton and are being used by God in conferences and meetings in and around the city.
ZAMIE networks with TAMI – The Apostolic Ministries International, a Holy Spirit filled missions organization that is committed to the truth and power of God’s Word and His love. This ministry moves in the grace of Jesus Christ to continue the exploits recorded in the Book of Acts in the Bible. TAMI exists to “know Him and make Him known” and labour towards seeing the great commission fulfilled in this generation. TAMI’s desire and goal is to bear witness to the love of God in Christ to help Christians grow in their faith and to impact their communities in a positive and powerful way with the love of Christ. TAMI’s work includes but is not limited to church planting, training and empowering believers and charity projects for the less fortunate.
Caritas
TAMI has a heart and desire to provide for the spiritual and physical needs of impoverished people of the world. Pastor Alias from TAMI Dubai developed an organization called CARITAS to help meet these needs. ZAMIE has partnered with this organization and set up an arm’s length organization.
CARITAS GLOBAL OUTREACH FOUNDATION was incorporated in 2017 in Canada and United States with four objectives:
- Relief of Poverty
- Advancement of Education
- Advancement of Religion
- Other Charitable projects related to improvement of people and living conditions. Some examples would be orphanages, building educational facilities, building churches, temporary recovery rooms or safe homes for pregnant single women, or victims of abuse and /or addiction recovery.
CARITAS GLOBAL OUTREACH FOUNDATION has an elected board of directors registered with the Alberta Government and is also closely affiliated with ZAMIE. This organization raises funds from outside the church as ZAMIE also has a very active Missions Program that does some similar projects. CARITAS is set up as a non-religious organization although its board is very committed to sharing the gospel as it carries out its four objectives. CARITAS is seeking donations from private donors, businesses, government grants and other such sources. If you have information on sources, we could approach please inform us through this website.
We are all aware of the dire needs throughout the world and most of these have not heard of Jesus who can take care of our needs. CARITAS wishes to introduce the gospel message as it also supplies physical relief to people throughout the world. Israel
Operation Tarshish is a ministry which God has raised up to bring His Covenanted Peoples, the Jews, home to Israel, the Land He swore on oath to give them.
The Word of God also tells us that it is Christians (believing Gentiles) who will bring them home. (Isaiah 49:22) Do you have a boat, yacht or ship, or just love sailing, and are willing to be used by the God of Israel in these end-times to bring His children home – as foretold by the Prophets? Or are you called to intercede and support this move of God by other means?
ZAMIE is involved in supporting Operation Tarshish – a ministry based in Israel which is involved in Aliyah, the return of Jews to the land of Israel. Donations made to Operation Tarshish via ZAMIE will be issued a tax receipt.
