God’s Precious Thoughts For His Children

~Dani Jacob

Many, O Lord my God, are your wonderful works which you have done; And your thought towards us cannot be recounted to You in order; If I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered. Psalm 40:5 (NKJV)

In the course of our spiritual journey, it is not uncommon for us to experience feelings of abandonment and overwhelming thoughts. However, through the words of the psalmist King David, we are reminded that God’s thoughts are numerous and unwavering towards those who believe in Him. We all know the fact that thoughts lead to an action and an outcome. Therefore, God’s thoughts for us lead to miracles that can change the course of our lives.

The enemy’s plan is to weaken a person by feeding them lies and instilling fear in them. But what are the enemy’s lies exactly? In my personal spiritual journey, I have experienced that sometimes when I hear a word from God, the enemy immediately brings a counter thought and whispers it in my ear. This thought tries to make me believe that the word I heard is just a normal thought and not from God. I have noticed that this tactic discourages me from believing God’s word and stops me from sharing what God says to me.

By obeying Christ Jesus, we unlock the key to achieving total victory over our enemy. Don’t let your foe hold you back any longer. Follow in the footsteps of our Savior and claim the triumph that is rightfully yours.

God’s desire for us is to seek those things that are above, where Christ is, and not on things on the Earth as we read in Colossians 3:1-2.

When we allow theHoly Spirit to take control over our thoughts, we open the door to an abundance of awe-inspiring miracles that can transform our lives in ways beyond our wildest imagination. As we witness these miracles unfold before our very eyes, we begin to see the intricate and magnificent plans that God has in store for us.

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11 (ESV)

Heavenly Father, we surrender our lives and our thoughts into Your mighty hands. We believe Your thoughts are higher than our thoughts and we declare that we live in Your fullness.
