Complacency is dangerous because it convinces us to stop expecting God, stop depending on Him, and stop carrying His burden for others. God is calling His people out of ease, pride, and spiritual self-satisfaction into fresh hunger for the Holy Spirit, renewed compassion for the poor and needy, and bold faith for what is still ahead. We will not be held by the failures or successes of yesterday, we press forward, believing God for more, because He is not finished with us.
