Ladies Outdoor Fellowship

We’re excited to invite all women—mothers, daughters, and sisters in Christ—for a beautiful time of fellowship and fun!

Location: Calvary Community Church Playground

This gathering is open to all women. Come and enjoy an afternoon of connection, food, fellowship, and games. It’s a wonderful opportunity to build relationships, celebrate one another, and simply enjoy time together.

Young Adults Spring Hike

WHEN:

  • Saturday, June 7th
    Leaving CCC parking lot at 6.00 am, with approximate return time of 10.00 – 11.00 pm

WHAT:

CARPOOLING:

  • We will be leaving the church together on Saturday at 6.00 am but we are requesting for everyone to find their own ride for the trip ahead of time.
  • If you are new to the group and don’t know who to head down with please don’t hesitate to reach out and we’ll gladly help find you someone to drive with.
  • We are usually lacking drivers so please don’t hesitate to volunteer to drive.
  • Please bring change to help pay for gas if you are carpooling.
  • Drivers, please make sure you are starting with a full tank to minimize stops.

WHAT TO BRING:

  • Packed lunch & snacks for the day
  • At least 2L of water for the hike
  • Comfortable hiking footwear & socks
  • Weather appropriate clothing
    (rain jacket/sweater, etc)
  • Sunscreen
  • Sunglasses
  • Bug spray
  • Daypack
  • Hiking poles
  • Camera/spare batteries
  • Bear spray in a belt holster (Always recommended when hiking in the mountains)

ITINERARY:

  • Be at CCC, ready to go, no later than 6.00 am; it’s early, so out of respect for everyone else, please be on time
  • Drive to Nordegg 
  • Hike
  • Drive home

COST:

  • Contributing towards gas

Most importantly, pray for perfect hiking weather, parking spots, and safe travels for everyone!! Feel free to invite your friends.

Ladies Retreat

June 20, 2025 - June 22, 2025 5:30 pm

Come enjoy a beautiful weekend away from all distractions for a time of rest, fun and connection. Our theme this year is ‘The Kingdom Woman Mindset.’ . If you are a child of God and a woman, then you are a Kingdom woman. A Kingdom woman actively seeks God’s will and His ways every single day through a deeper relationship with Him. The Holy Spirit enables to set her priorities right, thereby advancing the Kingdom of God becomes the joy and heartbeat of her life.  Because she is strongly rooted in word & faith, she cannot be easily moved by difficult situations or even her emotions. There are challenges she faces and the enemy’s sole intention is to discourage her from her assignment. A Kingdom woman is virtuous, strong and victorious through Christ Jesus.  She lives in the constant awareness that she has been redeemed and set free for a reason. An awareness of the Kingdom mandate!

It will be held at Camp Nakamun, just an hour & 15 mins drive from Edmonton. It has a warm & inviting atmosphere where women can relax in the beauty of God’s creation, enjoy biblical teaching and worship.

  • Open to women of all ages. Girls 13+ and nursing babies are welcome.
  • Saturday registration available only for those with medical or a reasonable cause.
    Cost – $80
  • No refunds for cancellation on/after June 1. Full refund if you find someone to fill your spot.
  • Activities available: Barge ride, Waterfront, Zip-line & Archery. You can choose up to 3 activities for a small additional cost.
