Women’s Ministry

The vision of Women’s ministry at ZAMIE church is to develop a strong and caring community of women who would support, connect with each other as well as deepen their walk with God.

Women are the backbone of family and church. When we come together in word and prayer in the power of the Holy Spirit, we continue to be transformed into mighty vessels used for God’s glory.

We desire to encourage relationships by:

  • Providing an atmosphere that fosters fellowship, support and unity among women through our meetings.
  • Encouraging women to use their talents and gifts to edify one another and the body of Christ.
  • Supporting the vision and work of the church.

Our meetings include:

  • Currently we are meeting over Zoom at 11 am every Saturday morning
  • Annual Gatherings: Daughters of the King, Women’s retreat, Special meetings and Christmas fellowship.

Stay tuned to our Facebook page and website for announcements on upcoming events.

Bible Study Series – The Beatitudes: Growing in our walk with Jesus
Saturday | 11:00 am | Zoom

Come join us! We are resuming our Bible study on Zoom, this Saturday, September 28 at 11:00 am.

The topic is ‘The Beatitudes’ from Jesus’ sermon on the mount in Mathew 5: 1-12. The concept of the King and the kingdom is prominently featured in the gospel of Matthew; in fact, it is the theme of the book. The Beatitudes talks about the blessings that flow from the Kingdom of God just by aligning our hearts at the right place. We are called to be the disciples of Christ. It is not just in words, but discipleship comes with a real cost. The cost of discipleship means dying to self, giving up on your own desires as you submit them to the will of God through the person of Jesus. What does it truly mean to be ‘poor in spirit’? What does it mean to be ‘meek’?

We will also be focussing on the dependency on the Holy Spirit who transforms us daily to the image of Christ. The basic purpose is to understand the concept of the Kingdom of God, the blessings that flow from it by aligning our heart and our attitude and the importance of constant dependence on the Holy Spirit. Our prayer is that this will help us to know Jesus, our King, in a deeper way.

The last session will be on November 29th. We will take a month’s break and resume in January.
