Isaiah 31:5 “Like birds hovering, so the Lord of hosts will protect Jerusalem; he will protect and deliver it; he will spare and rescue it.”

This is a promise over Jerusalem and it is also a promise for our church. There are three things God has promised.
1. Defend: He will surround you and shield you.
2. Deliver: He will snatch you from the jaws of Satan. At the right time He will quickly remove you and leave the devil looking like a fool.
3. Rescue: When the enemy has you surrounded, God will make a small hole through which He will remove you. You may feel as if you are suffocating and confined but God is creating an escape route.

He himself will become your protection and covering. At the right moment He will open a door for you to escape. Can you latch on to this as a promise for your life? He is the way maker!
