God is our help and our shield (Psalm 33:20). He is the refuge where we can hide in the days of trouble. But the psalmist of Psalm 47 told us about some other “shields” – the princes of the earth.
Jesus asks Peter three times, “Do you love Me?” And each time, when Peter says yes, Jesus responds with, feed my sheep. Jesus wasn’t simply repeating a command—He was revealing His heart.
