WHERE: Kananaskis
A Kananaskis conservation pass is needed to park at the trailhead so please purchase one before travel.

WHAT:
Chester Lake Loop has a moderate rating with some minor incline, rocky terrain and possibility of mud so bring good footwear. It is a shorter 9.5 km hike (roughly 4 hours). There are stunning views along the way to stop and take lots of pictures and since it is in the fall it will be larch season.

CARPOOLING:

• We will be leaving the church together on Saturday at 6am but we are requesting for everyone to find their own ride for the trip ahead of time.
• If you are new to the group and don’t know who to head down with, please don’t hesitate to reach out and we’ll gladly help find you someone to drive with.
• We are usually lacking drivers so please don’t hesitate to volunteer to drive.
• Please bring change to help pay for gas if you are carpooling.
• Drivers, please make sure you are starting with a full tank to minimize stops.

• Be at CCC, ready to go, no later than 6am; it’s early, so out of respect for everyone else, please be on time.
• Drive to Kananaskis 
• Hike
• Drive home

COST: Contributing towards gas
